Charity gifts
You’ve heard of ‘Get a Goat’, so why not ‘Buy a Bee’?
Charity gifts are a great way of showing your loved ones that you care whilst supporting causes that you both believe in. Virtual gifts are treated as donations and are eligible for Gift Aid (if you are a UK tax payer), meaning that your money goes even further to support our vital conservation work. Further details on how your money will be spent can be found at the bottom of the page.
Recipients of charity gifts receive a card, a packet of bee-friendly wildflower seeds and a bumblebee pin badge. The card contains a personal message of your choice and explains how their gift will help with conservation.
Option 1 - Wildflower meadows in England and Wales
This gift supports the creation and restoration of wildflower meadow habitats in England and Wales to help populations of our rarest bumblebees.
These colourful meadows will be full of bees, butterflies and bird song and are put in to last, so this is a gift that will keep on giving…

Donations to these schemes support the Bumblebee Conservation Trust's work to conserve our most threatened bumblebee species and the wildflower habitats that they depend on. Gifts “purchased” from this website do not entitle the donor to any form of ownership of land or species. Flower-rich habitats can sometimes be protected from destruction through campaigning, sometimes restored or created through advisory work with landowners and sometimes purchased outright. Your donation will be spent in the most cost-effective way to generate flower-rich meadow habitat in areas where it is most needed for the benefit of bumblebees and other wildlife. Your donation may be spent supporting the work our our Conservation Officers but will not be spent on the general running costs of the charity, fundraising or any other purpose.
